HI.

I'm Alex. I'm a writer, director and overall pretty nice guy.

When I was in college, I read Ralph Waldo Emmerson's "Self-Reliance." That kind of changed everything for me. The notion of self-actualization was both inspiring and empowering. So, I did what any normal college student would do. I made a list of all of the things I wanted to do before I die and I started checking them off one by one.

I still have a lot to do, but it's allowed me to stay focused on what’s important. Besides, that's what modern medicine is for. My grandma lived to be 103, so 115 might not be out of the question.

Life, to me, is all about experience. You try new things and learn along the way. Failures and successes are all accompanied by the same thing - experience.

A wise creative once told me, "don't write for a brand, write as one." I interpret that as the need to stay true to one's voice. My writing is just an extension of my voice, and my voice is a result of my experiences.

So that’s me. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. At the very least, I can tell you about North Korea.

I enjoy human interaction. If you'd like to say hi, please feel free!
